iPod (plural form: iPods) are digital audio players and general purpose pocket computing devices created by Apple since 2001. The iPod, under its different iterations, have gathered a sizeable following.

The first generation of these devices were released on October 23, 2001. The only iPod that remains in production as of today is the 7th generation iPod touch.
