Video playback was introduced to the iPod lineup with the iPod video. Many subsequent iPods, including the iPod classic and the iPod nano (3rd generation), support this feature. However, video playback on iPod is limited to 480p resolution, with a limited bitrate, making it often necessary to convert videos into iPod-compatible format, using iTunes or other software.
All Click Wheel iPods which can play video also support Clickwheel games.
