AlterPod is a iPod firmware manager for PowerPC Macs. It has been discontinued, but still has sites where you can download it. For a more viable and current firmware manager for iPods on macOS, see IPodEditor.

The site Podite.com created AlterPod. They have since gone down, and most of their pages on archive.org are empty due to requiring an account to see most if not all content/downloads. (More info is required)
