The Mac (Macintosh) is Apple's line of computers and laptops. The Macintosh was introduced in January of 1984, and continues to be made today (it is now shortened to just "Mac"). Formerly running the "classic Mac OS system software", it now runs on macOS. These were the only computers that could sync to iPods until the release of iTunes for Windows.
